Good Things Festival
project overview
Challenge:
Good Things Festival aimed to sell out its 2022 tour across three cities, featuring renowned bands and artists like Bring Me The Horizon and The Amity Affliction. With a lineup of high-profile acts, the stakes were high in terms of buzz and ticket sales. Additionally, the festival sought to produce an official aftermovie, adding another layer of creative and logistical considerations.
Goal:
The primary objectives included achieving high attendance by selling out shows, especially in the cities of Melbourne and Brisbane. We aimed to implement a multi-platform digital marketing strategy using Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Additionally, we sought to secure high metrics in terms of impressions, clicks, conversions, and click-through rates, and to produce an impactful official aftermovie for Good Things Festival 2022.
Solution:
Digital & Street Marketing:
Over a period of 2.5 months, we developed tailored Traffic and Retargeting Sales campaigns focused on selling festival tickets. These digital initiatives were supported by a street and digital billboard campaign in all three tour cities.
Multi-Platform Approach:
We optimised the campaign across four major platforms—Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok—to expand reach and enhance engagement.
Performance Metrics:
The campaign successfully achieved:
• Impressions: 5,790,317
• Link Clicks: 182,566
• Conversions: 10,966
• Click-Through Rate: 6.93%
The Aftermovie:
Capitalising on the success of the digital campaign, a five-person video production crew from 180 Creative took on the task of creating the Good Things Festival 2022 Official Aftermovie. The aftermovie captured the essence and excitement of the tour and showcased live performances from the festival’s high-profile bands.
By pairing effective digital marketing strategies with dynamic video production, we not only met the goal of high attendance and ticket sales but also encapsulated the spirit and energy of Good Things Festival 2022 in a compelling aftermovie.
